tallow beach.

tallow beach | south by north

Last weekend I was in Byron with my awesome friends Claire and Sally. We stayed about ten minutes walk through the bush from an amazing place called Tallow Beach. We headed down there at sunset, and pretty much had the whole beach to ourselves. The sand was warm and soft, and the light was perfect for taking a few photos.

I loved it so much I felt like it deserved it’s own post : )

You can check out a few more pics from Byron Bay over on my grid.

  1. Stunning!

I grew up about 2.5 hours south of Byron Bay, in a small little place called Sandy Beach. These photographs bring back so many memories for me, of late afternoon walks after school with not a person in sight.

  2. Great shots Claire! I was up there for the first time to shoot a wedding on Saturday – had forgotten how much I love those deserted Australian beaches! x
